10 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR SPOUSE (OR POTENTIAL)

Why is this guide a must have?

Questions such as 'What are your hobbies?' or 'Are you an early bird or a night owl?' can indeed define your sense of fun with your spouse, but it lacks important aspects of what a marriage may mean to you.

A better way to gauge whether a marriage will be successful is to ask the deeper questions, ones that will impact the core of each other’s values and what it means towards long-term contentment and happiness.

Download the guide and enhance your connection with your spouse (or potential).

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over my time in this field is that good marriages keep us happier and healthier!

I am a marriage celebrant, marital counsellor and divorce facilitator with over 20 years experience. Integrating modern day, proven strategies and data, along with an Islamic approach, I have been privileged to see many couples mend cracked and sometime broken marriages.

My passion is to help couples and individuals grow in their marriages, give meaning and understanding to love and tranquility, and ultimately assist in striving for success in their relationship, in this life and in the next.

Being in a happy and healthy marriage is something we all aspire to and sometimes it is a life-long commitment. And just like any other committed project, you have to have the knowledge and skills to assist you in the endeavour. It would be crazy to think that you can start driving a car without qualifications or a licence, or to run a successful business without having any knowledge or skills in that field. So why do we make an exception when it comes to one of the most important things in our life; our family and happiness?

I started in this field some 20 years ago and over that time, there have been thousands of couples reaching out to me for advice and counselling. What I quickly discovered was that most couples genuinely want to make the marriage work, they just didn't have the tools and support to guide them through the rough times. Though each circumstance may be different and unique, time and time again I see the same issues playing out in their marriage as with other marriages too.

Years of experience, research and data has led me to discover that, fundamentally, there are five core matters that are needed in order to make a marriage not only work, but to thrive and blossom. Coincidentally, these five things starts with the letter C. Regardless of the situation or circumstance, having knowledge and action plan related to the five Cs will go a long way in resolving any problems your marriage may have.

So I encourage you, whether you have been married for a decade or you are looking to start your life with a potential spouse, please do yourself, your spouse, and your future a favour by learning and implementing The Five Cs to a Happier, Healthier and Thriving Relationship.
